Remember

Remember

A Poem by Joey Nizz

Forget every good that you did
As soon as you have done it
Forget the praise that occurs to you
The second you have gained it
Forget the smear that you hear
Before you can repeat it
Forget each affront, each enmity, each chiffon
Wherever you may meet it.

Remember every goodness done
To you, whatever its quantifies
Remember the praise by the rest received
And send it with delight
Remember every promise made
And keep it by the word, to the letter
Remember those who granted you aid
And be a thankful debtor

Remember all of the joy
That arrives your way in existing
Forget each anxiety and agony
Be sparing and hopeful
Remember the truth, remember the good
Remember the Heaven's above you
And you will find, through age and space
True great happiness and souls to love you.

Selflessness is an important skill in order to survive. We must learn how to get out of our conceited mindsets and think about all the good other people do as well.

Thank you for your review :)
I Absolutely Love this piece *-* !
I love what you said about the fact that we should remember all the good and aid we have received and forget the good we have done, and remember the praise that others received and not the one that we receive. I understand what you meant by " forget " and "remember " : "forget" no litteraly " forget " but to do something nice and than let it go, don't keep saying " hey look I helped this poor man, I did this and that ... " this will become vanity and pretending, and it shows that the good action you've done didn't come really from the heart but it was done to look awesome in the eyes of other and to gain praise and admiration by others ! and this is soo fake and not true.
and "remember " it means appreaciate and thank the others for their good heart, recognize the full worth of their being gentle and kind to us.
So, in a sentence, forget : to be modest and unasuming. Remember :to know the value of other people's good actions
these are the qualities of a True Great Man, of a warmhearted man !

And in the end I love the positive vision of things, and it's true ! we must appreciate and enjoy what we have and what's hidden beneath the unfortunate things, before it go away

Nice Work Joey ^^
