Welcome Spring

I have taken the sample option rather than the schematic as they don't quite equate. This is for Poetic Piers' Curtal Sonnet Contest

WELCOME SPRING

Do not delay to come, Oh spring,
with all thy wondrous gifts and grace;
For surely thou canst us supply,
indeed! Wilt in profusion bring
the light, the life, the New Year’s face,
the joy for which mankind doth cry.
'Tis certain, winter’s sullen, drear
and weary, sorrowed, careworn race,
on Spring’s bright bounty can rely,
 to usher in fair summer’s cheer.
 For Aye!

A bright vision of hope for Spring to spread a blanket of warmth over winter's frosty chill.
Wonderful...I can visualise the flowers blooming in a surge of new life.
