Previous Version This is a previous version of Welcome Spring. WELCOME SPRING Do not delay to come, Oh spring,
with all thy wondrous gifts and grace;
For surely thou canst us supply,
indeed! Canst in profusion bring
the light, the life, the New Year’s face,
the joy for which mankind doth cry.
For, surely winter’s sullen, drear
and weary, sorrowed, careworn race,
on Spring’s bright bounty can rely,
to usher in fair summer’s cheer.
For Aye!
