A Job is dreadful

A poem about how boring jobs are

My thoughts are often wild and sometimes I push them off a cliff

 Inner voice: Do I have to find a job?

 

I lost my passion and wish to retrieve it from hell

Inner voice: Do I have to find a job?

 

I value every moment of myself and I don't like to waste it

Inner voice: Do I have to find a job?

 

My life has value but most bosses see it as useless energy

Inner Voice: Do I have to find a job?

 

Gas prices are too much for 3 job interviews 18 miles away

Inner Demon: Do I have to find a job?

 

Did I really sign up to work or did society tell me that

Maybe I am an alien that likes to make his brain fat

 

I don't feel at peace in the presence of others

 

Disturbance clouds the air

The earth is cracking everywhere

 

A job to find peace is what I seek

Working endlessly to find my spiritual peak

 

It has been covered up by the thoughts of the leech

I rather pick up coconuts and relax at the beach

 

Jobs are boring

Working for someone leaves me snoring

 

Money This, Money that

I believe there is more to life than being able to afford a hat

 

J O B is an ugly word

A R T is whats prefered by this  beautiful nerd

 

Just like you and I

I feel that finding a job leaves me asking the question why?

 

I don't belong in an office.

I rather explore a forest that has been rendered lifeless.

 

Woman love guys with just a  job

I love women that don't have prob.  LEMS

 

A writer like me saves the trees from damnation

While jobs ruin trees for momentary observation

 

Society makes space for useless living

I liberate my spirit to keep up with fearless living

 

Jobs are for wimps

If I don't find one soon, I will be hanging with the chimps

 

Perhaps I can write to earn money for pies

If I don't find one quick, I will be living next to a trash can filled with flies

 

DO I REALLY HAVE TO FIND A JOB ?!

I enjoyed this poem completely. I have wondered the same question myself. I am at a place in life where I now have take a job that doesn't have to much hours and is fun. That way it does not seem debilitating and exhausting. I thank you for this fun poem.
