I AM A GREAT FRAUD

I put on a white hat

And have a nice chat

With my Muslim lot

Turning to west

Having a sumptuous Ramadan feast

 

I wear  a long white pure Jacket

And mix with my Christian friends

Praying to Jesus Christ for his blessings

Like a holy priest

And  have the Sabbath  taste

Though I don’t have the morals least

 

I am a born Hindu

And know well my own people’s view

Having many a Lord

Though I am great fraud

In fact, I don’t have any faith in God

But have firm belief in my sword

And exploit my people’s foolery for my power

And always try to sit on the Ivory tower

an interesting write, this and I believe there are a lot out there to whom this would apply, if it is you your transparency is refreshing - and if it is fiction - you are writing about something that occurs more than people would admit. On so many levels, even with just one brand of faith I feel like a fraud at times.

I think you write of someone else and not yourself. I think you believe in peace and not the sword, and that you would not exploit anyone.

A poem with a real story. Hard to know peace and where to stand. I tell people. Put religion aside. Have concern for the children. Hate and separation leave no winners.
