THE HINDU MONK AND THE CHRISTIAN NUN

THE HINDU MONK AND THE CHRISTIAN NUN

A Poem by Jvl narasimharao

SATYA Sai Baba is the most Popular Hindu monk

And mother Teresa is the most beloved Christian nun

Both of them almost reached the state of divinity

by serving the humanity And with a lot of religious piety

Some may think Sai Baba is just a magician

And Mother Teresa is merely a nun

Their arguments sound quite fun

because All the nuns and magicians can’t serve the world

on such a grand scale unless they have divine charisma

Both of them have disciples all over the world

They were treated and revered almost like living gods

As humans they might have suffered from some human follies and foibles

But they proved to the world that SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO GOD

Let us all pray for the two noble souls

Keeping our religious faiths aside

A good write up. but i a sorry that i dont agrree with the view. Mother Theresa focused herself as servant of God and thus served the less fortunate and destitutes. but Sai Baba never limited himself as a monk but expressed himself as 'God' himself. Mother stands for Transaparent, crystal clear blame less life while SAi Baba is a bundle of controversies.
I apperciate your writing my dear poet friend but let me assert that Mother & Sai Baba are not to be compared at all. Sorry if I hurt you.

This is absolute truth and beautifully written.. since I only know of each through what I have read and heard, I cannot fully comprehend your poem, but I know when truth is spoken and regardless of what one believes, these two servants were exceptional human beings created by God to serve mankind. Many blessings!

Saibaba may believe that he is an incarnation of God.Every Hindu believes that man is a spark of the divine.Even God is afraid of monks.Religion is a matter of belief like God.I believe SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO GOD.Both served the people in their own ways. They have divinity. Some people may not believe or endorse their services.Even I am not a devotee of Saibaba but he took up some wonderful projects.Even KARUNANIDHI, AN ATHEIST APPRECIATED HIM.SaiBABA MAY NOT BE GOD BUT he is an extraordinary human being despite the controversies

People underestimate the element of light! Whatever religion or faith we are, it is the same and if we can help and spread light, all the better! xx

both good people, I think we should agree to disagree on thing at times. This being one of then. Even thought I don't agree with "Sai Baba's" belifes his service and intent are very honorable.
