A SINGLE STEP

The longest journey begins with a single step

I don’t want to take rest until I get the winning cup

If any body tries to stop me on the way

I will politely ask him to go away

 

If  somebody wants to pull me down

I will laugh at him like a clown

Because I know my own power

It is the precious gift of my life giver

 

If any body wants to create an obstacle

and try to stop me from achieving the miracle

I will surmount it by my sheer will

and surely make him still

 

I am born to win the race

And run with requisite pace

I may be a small creature in this vast space

But I am not too tiny a thing to trace
