JUDGMENT

JUDGMENT

A Poem by Jvl narasimharao

A monk meditated upon God

In front of a woman’s house.

She was a  debaucher

Each time a visitor came to her house

He would pick up a stone  and throw it near by

The time rolled on and the years passed by

The heap of stones filed up day by day

The monk and the woman became old

The woman died one day

Heaven became her way

The monk died the next day

He was doomed to hell

He started to yell.

What sort of judgment is this?

The monk asked God.

God said” you concentrated only on her fraud.

She dedicated her soul to the Lord”

Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

I loved the moral perplexity in this poem.

Wow this is really deep. It puts a person to think what they are concentrating on more, God or material things?

This has me speechless. Well almost:) It just reminds me about how we treat others and the judgement we give when their belief system is different then our own.. Here the one being cast the stone is saved in diving light and the one righteous one was left feeling as though he was deserving.. Another wonderful write JVL..xx

beautiful sentiment and hard lesson we all must learn that when we dedicate our lives to the divine it does not mean to learn good from bad to behave righteous but to lead by example of what it is to understand the difference between judgement and condemnation

Wise words. Wonderfully written. We should never pass judgment on anyone cuz there might be some things we dont know and shouldnt even question. Great write!

What a wonderful perception of this. How it doesn't matter who you are or what you do, but how you put yourself out there for God to decide. Your relationship with God is personal and that all in itself changes everything. Amazing
