The Hole in Her Heart

The Hole in Her Heart

A Story by Jill

There's a hole in the little girl's heart. She can feel it when she laughs, or when she feels a friendly touch. She feels it when she's happy, and she feels it when she's not. This hole has been burned into her by someone who's meant to love her. Instead of love, he gave her slurred words, hate, and hurt.

He is gone now, but the hole still remains. It is smaller than it has been, yet it still hurts her just the same. She wishes it would heal, like all the other cuts she's seen. She would hurt a lot less, if it just went away.

Please go away, she just wants to play.

I wrote this on a phone, so I'm not too sure how it will look on a computer. Please review it, I'd love to get some feedback.
