Thunder

Thunder

A Poem by Jackie

Rain softly falls from the Heavens
The sky appears bruised
Lightening flashes across the battered clouds
Thunder rumbles to the ground
The rain grows louder
Pounding the Earth with fury
The thunder screams from the sky
The clouds frown and swell with tears
Looking down at the pitiful Earth
Overwhelmed with emotion
The tears rush down
