A Clock On The Wall ( Is A Cruel Reminder)

A Clock On The Wall ( Is A Cruel Reminder)

A Poem by Jacky Bones
"

i like soda pop

"

There is only two hands till the hour

Will it be yours?

Or will it be mine?

Cant it be ours?

Hold tight of these shaking hands

Hold tight dont let go

I’m fighting time

Till the then

But we’re still in the now

When will these minuets know

that there is no space in between lines

And with every breath I exhale a few moments past

Till I can hold and kiss that hand at last

This clock will bend and brake

It can only give and never take

It will leave him in the back of his mind

Where thoughts drift with out time

These seconds look longer in the long run

She is floating under the sun

If I rip this clock of a heart out of my chest

Place it on the wall

And I Love You The Best

Could the anticipation make it fall?

Time moves slow in this far away land

And I will dream with open eye

And for this time I will cry

Till I a wake with you in hand
