Epiphyllum Oxypetalum

Epiphyllum Oxypetalum

A Poem by Jacky Bones
"

I will wait for you forever

"

Oh little flower.

How I wait so many hour.

Just for you to blossom.

I cross arm.

Midnight comes close.

I feel you at the tip of nose.

Stand near to keep you warm.

From the cold nights storm.

 I tire and hurt.

I will get my worth.

I will sing you a song.

If you want.

Queen of the night.

Dutchman's pipe.

Midnight bloom.

Sing in tune.

I would die for you.

Just for a glimps.

Of those chalk white lips.

With the same toned skin.

 Fascination.

Please little flower.

Come to life this hour.

Please little flower.

Before the final hour.

A watched flower never blooms. ;) Great write. "glimps" should be "glimpse". Applause for a wonderful piece.

I would have liked a little more variety of rhyme.
But I love it, the structure suits the style perfectly. Well done.
P.S. The title is on the top of the world.

I love this.
And I have grown to absolutely love this flower more and more by the minute.
It's so fascinating.

Goodness, that title is an attention grabber!
Anywhos, the poem was very well written. I noticed it seemed a bit choppy in some places, but somehow it fit the poem. What sort of puzzled me was your punctuation. Commas and periods hold different weights. I think if you checked your grammar in some places it would make the poem more loose and less tight. However, if you meant for it to be tight- ignore me =D

Good job, loved how you conveyed all the emotion. Keep up the good work!
