Remember When We Were In Love (Everything Changes)

Remember When We Were In Love (Everything Changes)

A Poem by Jacky Bones

Sometimes I wake up

Just for the sake of it all

Just so I can call

out my own Low

Pick and pull

Trappd inside this unwrapped present

Presence of where I belong

This is what I've wanted all along

Burn Freeze turncoat

I'm a little bit time turned

Just call me insicure

Just call me loneliness

What you've always said is real

Seams to be closing in on me

Like an Apple tree

Turned oak

The fear grips my skin

And I pull myslef in

The moon tugs at my legs

As if I'm the rays

of the sun

Pictures of me

Someone I once knew

The answers read true

But come out so unclear

I stear my heels into my back

Drag my nails to ash

My walls of security

Filled up to clouds

Of harsh winds

Slithers across pailling skin

Sometimes I need to believe

That sometimes Its only me

Against all my faithlessness

Time and time between

I wont trust myself to think

And I pretend

Lie myself to ignorance

theres no one to go home to

But the face of the clock

And his hands

That back stab me constintly

Cant even crawl

But I'm trapped running

Going out of my mind

Wrote these words to for a rhyme

So I close my eyes

And we all dance

Dance in perfect lines

Drenched in the flames

We all fall to the floor

Colapsed lungs

Perplexed songs

It cant be this way

Even if it means nothing
