Sillhouette

Sillhouette

A Poem by Outcast
"

Carry on.

"
I'm a silhouette.
Fading in and out of reality.
Do you see me?
Am I there?
I try so hard to slip out of the shadows to see your radiant smile just to come crawling back to the in between life to which I was condemned.
Its not something a cut can fix.
Its not something a simple distortion of light can fix.
I'm a symbolic silhouette feeling dark for so long I don't know what light is, there's not a glimmer of it to be found.
You see that shade of black so dark the night sky looks like the sun?
Those are my emotions on a good day.
Why does this fog have to overrun my life.
Why is my judgement clouded by you and your choices.
so as I hope these summer stars lead me away from my shroud of sadness.
I reiterate I... Am a silhouette.
