Time moves my friend

Time moves my friend

A Chapter by Josef Dolek
"

an elegy

"

time moves my friend
the flowers on the porch are blooming purple
right now
and time moves my friend
we once held a mind
is it still moving my friend
even without me
time moves my friend
an upwards cork-screw with no cork to screw
im a little further down the slide
you'll never find just me again
but ill keep searching for our mind
and if its riding the nucleus
ill see if it is
still moving my friend

it never really ends
the night never stays
just one long day

I lay the wake
as the sun cast rays
I'm always awake
on Earth for a day
