Sunshine

I had frend ask me to write her a "happy poem." This was my best effort. Sorry if it's not so great, happy isn't normally my thing.

Once I knew a Sun ray

She was always happy

Never without a smile on her face

In her life, the sun was always shining

Never a rain cloud in sight

 

When the day finally came

That a cloud covered the sun

She fretted and fretted

And didn't know what to do

 

But then the cloud passed

And the little Sun ray

Became happy again

And her smile lit up the world
