Short one that just came to me one day and I tried to jot it down as quick as I could.

The Story In Her Eyes

 

There’s a story in her eyes,

A novel I can’t quite read yet,

But when someone’s been through as much as I have you start to see people in a different light,

 

She has this look in her eye,

Behind her deep eyes a story has been written,

A long story filled with tales of struggle scars and fear,

 

She has this look on her face,

Behind her beautiful smile unspoken words wait to be shared,

A story of a life changing experience that lurks in the depths of her mind

 

She has a story in her eyes,

I just can’t quite read it yet.
