Love You Need You

Love You Need You

A Poem by James Wells

Well you smoke your cigarettes and you don't believe
In what it is you do, or much of anything
You run around this town trying to fill a hole
Of all the things you've lost, with your broken soul.
Take a breath and slow it down, it's not the end yet
Love is not too far away, try not to forget

And I, I will be waiting for you.
I will go wherever you want me to
Patiently waiting here day after day
I will be waiting to hear you say
I love you
I need you
I want you
I love you so please stay

We didn't start out broken, it took awhile dear
Every winding road led us to our fears
I remember calling on the first night it snowed
I told you that I know, how the story goes
You laughed and asked if it's all a dream
And I know it was, but it means everything.
Your pride is damaged, that's easy to see
Let the spark ignite every possibility

I love you
I need you
I want you
I love you so please stay

Memories crash like the waves from the sea
A trillion brilliant words couldn't bring you back to me.
I'm angry and jaded and I know that I'm wrong.
So I hope you hear apology ringing in this song

And I, I will be waiting for you.
I will go wherever you want me to

And I, I will be waiting for you.
I will go wherever you want me to
Patiently waiting here day after day
I will be waiting to hear you say
I love you
I need you
I want you
I love you so please stay

I'm just looking to keep people entertained. It's important to me that I do as much as I can to give hope to the hopeless. We need it the most. But I also do say some comedic things occasionally, b.. more..
