"The Gamer"

"The Gamer"

A Poem by Johnny A. Rojas

Sin is the name

Of that game you like to play

Nothing wrong until you get caught

So how long will it take?

Riding the adrenaline rush

Feeling a high that’s untold

Now feeling down below the floor

Sincerity in not in the scope

Feeling betrayed by your own thoughts

Relentless feeling of hate

For those thing you will suffocate

Come on now who will tell

Is the words that you hear in your head

Feeling like you escape untouched

But in a couple of minutes

You will feel the pain of your lust

Now something creeps within

And makes you hate everything you did

Burn in the arms of hate

Burning in the ashes of your lust

You tell yourself over and over again

"I will not fall in this game anymore"

And before you realized what you did

You are back at it again.

Sin is the name

of the game you like to play

One day it will be your death bed
