Self-transcendence

Self-transcendence

A Poem by Johnny A. Rojas

I believe in fascination

A sense, an urge to touch

A magnetic attraction

Something drawing you to

And feeling that you can’t let go

But this is becoming insane

Just put your guards down

Let the water caress your worries

Feel free in this lake of joy

A forest surrounds us

Even though the drought was long

I can still rock this show.

I believe in fascination

Come take a closer look

Let the passion of my touch

Bring joy to your soul

I’ll make you walk alone

But you will be left wanting more

Sense of pride that’s a joke

Let me kiss you under a cherry moon

And let the stars feel your glow

Don’t try to comprehend my meaning

Just come let me bring you a smile

You’ll be enlightened

and left begging to learn more.

I believe in fascination

I like this secret place that you write about. It's impassioned and you've obviously mapped every detail. Excellent.
