Silence fills the room like a glass of water

Stuck

feeling trapped I am inhaled by the

Darkness

       words

They can shape you

They can break you

  Words

         Destroy

Falling

drifting

That is

The unknown

Isolation creeps

Nothing can be done

Question lies within the mind like a sleeping dragon

Answers awaiting to be woken

Tears drip like a broken faucet

Hearts shattered like mirrors

And the memories are nothing but blank spaces

Existence is pretend and dreams are reality

What have you done to me

            Time has run out

I get the 'Alice' references in this and the feelings you seem to attach to her descent down the rabbit hole, indeed though as an allegory it could also be someone who is feeling they are falling from life.
