Kinaalda-Rite of Passage

Kinaalda-Rite of Passage

A Poem by Jaweena...Eileen Quintana
"

When a girl has her first menstruation, we celebrate this sacred event with Kinaalda Ceremony. She transitions from being a child to a young woman. Four Days of observing ageless traditions.

"

Sacred rite of passage into womanhood "Kinaalda"

body and spirit blessed by running at dawn to greet the Sun

empowered by Changing Woman with generosity, discipline and Strength!
