Daydreams

Daydreams

A Poem by Jaxson Phoenix

I slumber not, yet still I dream
as thoughts of you prevail.
Your beauty haunts my mind
and on my heart assails.

Those sapphire pools draw me in
to drown me in thy gaze
and shroud my heart completely
in a warm and loving haze.

The memories of your touch
ignite the fires within
while the taste still lingers
from your alabaster skin.

The passion that we shared
I keep forever in my heart
and think upon it often
when we are far apart.
