Will you be mine?

Will you be mine?

A Poem by Jaxson Phoenix

Will you be my Valentine
Will you press your lips to mine
Will you hold me close to you
Will you make my dreams come true

Can I taste your tender kiss
and feel the heat of passion's bliss
To your love I'll build a shrine
if you'll be my Valentine

Yes I'll be your Valentine
and press my tender lips to thine
I'll hold you in my arms so tight
and fill your dreams with love tonight

Author's Note

Jaxson Phoenix
Valentines is a holiday that is more often than not, celebrated by the young in our society. They exchange cards and candy in schools and write letters and poems to the objects of their desires. I wrote this to try and capture some of that innocence. It is a simple valentine between two young people.

You could easily become a WallMart card texter. You definitely have what it needs.
This is very sweet and so nice.
