Daddy I Love You

Daddy I Love You

A Poem by Jaxson Phoenix

When he says, "I love you",
It always brings me joy
Knowing I was blessed
With such a special boy

He will say it often,
Several times each day
And it makes me wonder
Why we all can't be that way.

Unafraid to say it
At home or in a crowd
And he never whispers
He just says it out loud

He is not ashamed
To let his feelings show
So tell me how he does it
Is there something I don't know?

Tell me, how can I
Be like this little child
And openly express
The feelings that I hide?

As an answer to your question here:

Be yourself and never forget the child within you. Let people think what they want and simply live your life the way you chose right. You are here to be who YOU are and not who others want you to be. Just let go of all those unhealthy inhibitions this nowadays society wants you to keep at.

Wonderful write. Very thought provoking and touching ...
