Whateverness

Whateverness

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina

So I'll be silent now.
If my words changed a thing?
Would it even matter?
I'll talk to myself because no ones there to listen.
Breathe in the stillness.
As the mist shines.
Take the time to notice.
That you are alive.
Here we are again.
What have I to show for it?
Another weekend alone.
Trampled under the foot of replicas.
Shove that pity.
Sympathy, If you cared.
Look beyond the box.
These walls aren't even here.
Mellow manic imbeciles.
Don't take my word for it.
I've tried to improve.
My efforts mean nothing.
Actions speak louder.
Sticks and stones to glue and rubber.
Lets count those hollow slaves.
As they stumble to their graves.
Questioning the motives.
Repeating the same day.
Tremble in terror before the truth.
Political garbage or travesty?
You choose.
Various meanings.
I can't begin to start.
Their constant bitter emptiness.
Fiends with no hearts.
Thanks for whateverness.
It helps.
