Xaitu 104:29-30A Poem by A Synfull Argonaut
A moment here, a moment gone,
Why müst Oh Lord Oh Thou me flee? The sun appear, and then forgone, No moon her light e’er to decree, Crepuscule lurid, blind abyss, Whereon walk I anon alone. A September, fond remember, Amidst grey skiey, and rose red eve, Stillness sounds her, to encounter, Peace a portal therein bereave, Of trepid tristful trifling gone, So fleeting it is so bitter. But aye amist, breathtaking kiss, Doth drown away the poignant pain, I Thee see i‘ such mem’ry bliss, Thy peace it flow like gentle rain, Now fleet it fly in fading form, Only in dream I reminisce. © 2023 A Synfull Argonaut |
