The Heart That Grew Colder

The Heart That Grew Colder

A Poem by Jazzy

The creatures heart who grew colder, was no bigger than your average pet and no smaller than a fish. She was not my own, but I knew her the most. Her heart was twisted into knots you see, but wasn't by me. Her owners were not to blame for her pain and her shame, no. You see it was the ignorance of the people who made her heart grow stiff, and cold. The ignorance of emotion being the primary control of ones behavior. She was shown that with people is greed, no matter how kind the people shall be, they shall whelm to my every need. I shall be warm with others warmth, because I have no warmth myself. I tried to be different I tried to show her the way, I tried to show her that her heart could grow warmer everyday. Oh I wish she would at least see I shown her the way.
