A Dream in Color

A Dream in Color

A Poem by Jcbutterrtoast
"

I like to think that there are some dreams that don't end even after you've woken up.

"
I wear the chains of sleep that

Shackle me to a fountain

Of dreams. Fae beasts lurk

Within the realm of my vision,

Dragging me down into deeper

Slumber. Pristine bubbles pop into

Prismatic spray, coating my

Vision in ripe pink and

Succulent purple. Then the

Shackles pop open, freeing

Me from my bonds, and I

Chase the bubbles unceasingly.

I'm a pretty casual writer with a love for all kinds of fiction (especially fantasy). I write more poetry than stories because I'm too impatient to reach the end of them! Completely unrelated passions.. more..
