from my head

from my head

A Poem by moo to the world

a summer breeze falsely flies by
cause winter is all but here
and these ghost wont leave me alone
i see visions
street light and alleyways and an ocean smell
  burn through me like
       some kinda new found hell

sticky floors on the buses i use to tame
and the concrete never felt so warm

it seems no matter where i run
I'm always poisoned by thoughts of home
i could traded poison for poison but in the end,
i end up right back here
       clutching a skeleton hand
dancing with freeways and the faint hint of fading light
  my youth may fade,
bleed out on to your plate
but don't let it take your appetite for more

and i saw red light flash by
         cold rose perfume
expired pills and the slowly rotting away of me and you
