Head of Dreams

Head of Dreams

A Poem by Jeff

Another Night, Another Dream.

Your smiling face, smiling back at me.

Your embrace wrapping me in your safety.

Your kiss as welcoming as I remember.

And every night I see you there.

Walking around my dreams.

Like you should be walking around our home.

Every morning I wake to an empty bed.

Every morning I wake to an empty house.

And every morning I wish you were here.
