She'll Live (In memory of Mrs. Aniagu)

She'll Live (In memory of Mrs. Aniagu)

A Poem by Geo Lawrence
"

about 3 years ago, my close friend and coursemate lost his mum. Wherever she is now, I want her to know that we still remember her fondly and still pray for her sweet spirit.

"

You'll see her laid to rest

Beneath this city's clay.

You'll rain a drop and a flow,

From the clouds and through your cheeks.

I'll mourn with you like a howling wolf

Her boat will be afloat our tears.

The grief you bear shall tame my joys

By you I’ll stand beside her mound

To say with you some wordless psalms

We'll look to the sky and seek her soul

Among those clouds that hide the sun.

She'll live in you; of this I know

And no more deaths shall cross her path

She'll live, she'll live, and she’ll live!

Amen Amen Amen...
