The final goodbye!

The final goodbye!

A Poem by Jennifer Lane

When I look into your face,
Its not what I see that matters.
It’s what I don’t see that means the most,
There’s no forever in your eyes.
No growing old with each other,
No us sitting on a porch holding hands.
We won’t be rocking in chairs,
While our loved ones play in the yard.
All we will have left together now,
Is the words of our final goodbye.

wow this sounds so final, like your title says, the final goodbye, no more dreams of rocking in chairs and growing old together, the finality of a breakup its hard. but life can throw curve balls, things can change over years, so dont give up hope if there is any. People can change. But think of yourself and your future first and your happiness dont die waiting for someone. ok thanks for a lovely personal piece, again thankyou for entering
