Long

Long

A Poem by J.A.N

Nearly sixteen, I pace the city

streets and admire from afar

what is long gone, in your arms

warmth and love and lust all

mixed up, we even forgot our

names in moments of moans,

groans and sweet whispers of

forbidden words, yeah, I keep

them locked up inside my heart

and they reek hatred towards

her but I stay sane, and don't

even wave because it's not my

place to go and say where I

       belong

           long

      I long for you;

but you won't forget me, will you?

I could go on, and ask questions

make amends, not worth your time

but to you, I was only worth a lie,

every single time you walked by

I could fall apart, did I really seem

so strong and self-assured of

something you were wearing thin

on, call it love, I dare you

speak it like the truth, devour

your lies in sheets that twist with

her and her screams of ecstasy
