Rising From The Blue

She sits all alone

By her window sill

Her future is unknown

Like clouds over the hill

Wonders what’s in store for her

Will all her dreams come true

But everything seemed a blur

As anxieties increasingly grew

But then she recalls

The best of advice

She won’t ever fall

For she won’t be born twice

Create your own life

And work hard for it

You won’t get it twice

Make your choices worth it

And enjoy it to its fullest too

As it’s an essential aspect

Don’t waste your time in blue

Otherwise you’ll regret

Life is a precious gift

Fate is your decision

So let your hopes uplift

Cause you’re worth appreciation

Thanks a lot :)
Well done Jesse. Simple, inspirational, beautiful, and well written with a message that's delivered clearly. It has a good rhyming scheme too, so a good poem, one that I certainly enjoyed reading.
Keep on writing!

I can see you`ve written this poem in traditional form, very nice, indeed. The message here is strong and clear. I think I can safely say the end is my favorite. Because it`s true, everyone`s worth appreciation. Regardless of culture, race, looks, status etc, etc.

My conclusion: a good read, something I can recommend to poem lovers. Nice work!

I really liked this! I feel like this website is often flooded with sad stories and most have morals but I like seeing them in less depressing ways. I really liked the wording and the message in this poem! looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Vary strong words. And I love the meaning in this poem. Well done. You go girl.

Ok. I have no idea about poem structure, form etc so I'm probably pretty useless at this sort of thing. However, I'd say the first few verses are best because they paint a picture expressing emotion at the same time and made me get how you feel. I would work on the second half or cut it down? I think I prefer non-rhyming poetry as it is more expressive? Nevertheless there's definite potential there!

Very deep, and to the soul. I love the style, and the flow as well. Hope to see more like these soon. :)
