Sea me sunset

Sea me sunset

A Poem by Jesscribbles
"

Mission Beach sunset

"
It's dark images displayed on the wash of grey
Orange consumes
Turning pink as it hits the calm blue
And the blue
Blue
Forever folding forwards
Rolling
Crashing
Gently
A soft awakening
So near I can taste it's promise
It's lies
Though it never quite reaches
My island
Still there the ghost
Lit amongst the blue
Half
A bright
White
Smile
Tilted so it faces me
Teasingly
Tauntingly
A reminder of the yellow
How it fades
Conquered by darkness
In all it's depths and beauty
It's waiting
Always watching
The empty shadow that is I
