What if

NEEDS WORK AND INPUT I THINK

What if I was a whisper in your ear?

Would you shed a single tear?

 

What if I ran down your back like the wind?

Would you miss me then?

 

What if I was there,

everyday,

everywhere?

Would you notice?

Or just not care.

 

What if I was the rain?

would you feel me?

 

What if you saw me crying?

Would you feel my pain?

Or just walk away,

How am I supposed to live everyday?

Not knowing if you cared,

not knowing what you would say,

 

What if I showed up at your door?

Would you talk to me?

Or would you shut me out,

stabbing my heart,

that is already torn?

Oh My dear Jessi,
I am so very proud of you and how you have bloomed into such a wonderful poet. Your earlier works were raw ,although still quite good. But this poem is like bitting into a ripe peach. Fresh and undiscribable. you show your poetic maturity with lines like....
