Consequences

Consequences

A Poem by Jessica O.

You hear screaming from below, breaking the eerie silence

All you know is that they're screaming your name

You're thinking that you're crazy for such thoughts

The screaming gets louder

You finally say words no one thought you'd say:

I'm giving up everything; forgive me.

Your decision to live and learn to love is great

More will trust, and more will follow

One more mistake, and the screaming starts

Infectious the consequences, the worse the results

About
I'm Jess. I'm a college third-year (wow, time flies too fast around here!) who plays piano and a little bit of flute, and sings. I'm a poet, therefore I'm a songwriter. I read a lot, and I don't do.. more..
