A Poem by Jessica O.

Who knows where those memories have gone?

Who knows why they fade?

Who knows why one may remember

And the other unintentionally forgets?

Wondering how this could be so,

The fact that is forgotten...

You once told me something I'd never forget

I'll remember it for the rest of my days

Yet I wonder if that was a lie

You told me I was unforgettable

What you said may be forgotten someday

Yet what one says means a lot to me

How could you forget your own words and actions

When actions can be easily remembered?

I remember what you say and do

Even the facts that are forgotten to you...

You once told me something I'd never forget

I'll remember it for the rest of my days

Yet I wonder if that was a lie

You told me I was unforgettable

I forgive you for forgetting

I know you might not have meant it

You once told me something I'd never forget

I'll remember it for the rest of my days

Yet I wonder if that was a lie

You told me I was unforgettable

About
I'm Jess. I'm a college third-year (wow, time flies too fast around here!) who plays piano and a little bit of flute, and sings. I'm a poet, therefore I'm a songwriter. I read a lot, and I don't do.. more..
