Goodbye

Good bye.
They say goodbye is forever, from now until the end
But that is not the case for us
You always come back again.

Sometimes I wonder why you leave
You say you care
But often it’s hard to believe

You know we can’t live without each other,
so why do you try?
To say goodbye.

It always leads to a new hello,
An old promise
You said way long ago

And when you tell me how you really feel,
Its like a broken piece in my heart…
heals

You always come back when I’m in need
Of a helping hand.
You’re a friend indeed

So, it makes me wonder,
Why they say goodbye, is forever
