Never have I written anything worth reading. Yet, I would like to fulfil my dream in revealing my imaginary hero’s story. I fear not failure but not achieving success. I do not want to be alone when writing Chelsea’s story, nor do I want to have many involve.
Recently I discovered that a writer must be patient for nothing is so simple. I also feel as if I have put barriers around myself and Chelsea’s story, separating us from the world of reality. In other words I think I’m slipping into my hero’s imaginary world and not living life. For, long I type upon the computer alone, and the more I type the more that needs to be finished. It seems endless. Time is doom to me.
I want help, but I do not want to share Chelsea’s story.  I fear sharing her story, yet I do not want to do this alone unless I can stop time. Could someone please give me some advice?

Follow your instincts. The story is yours and yours only. None of us can really tell you how it should be . . . as many writers as are in the cafe, we all do things our own ways. Some of us are solitary. Some of us collaborate. We are a diverse bunch. Welcome!

Unfortunately, on the Internet almost everything is fair game. I've had severl piece stolen word for word. One added so many cool graphics I actually copied his version of my piece. lol. I also emailed him, he gave me crap...I researched him, found he worked overseas...called his employer(who were involved in helping writers), they were not happy. He was going around stealing work and putting it on his highly regarded site. He freaked. He though he would lose his job. I found all the writing sites we went, too, and told them all about his actions...I even got an email from his Fiance who was worried he wasn't who he said he was. lol
When you done with your story, mail it to yourself, and keep it in a safe place. I wouldn't worry too much, really. Just remember...be consise, don't be wordy, watch the "Ands" and "But's." Good luck. Rain..
PS..If you are truly serious about writing as a living I have a friend who is one of the Top Literary Agents in NY. He has sold dozens of books on how to write a novel/short stories/etc. His name is Evan Marshall. You can Google him. He can be a huge help.

I understand your hesitation to share your work. However, storytelling is a group act in the end-- we cannot tell a story without an audience.
It helps to work on the story alone until you are happy with it. I didn't want to share my novel until I had gotten the opening "right"-- and by "right", I mean that it feels true and emotionally resonant.
Otherwise, you may want to get some writing how-to books, which are actually quite helpful.
