Death

I am the only thing that is wont keep you guessing

the one thing that will never let you down

You can't see me coming

I come faster to some than others

I can be an irresistible drug

A desirable poison

The permanent solution to all your problems

Your biggest fear

The greatest regret

I inspire others

Help drives those impulse

I can make you feel the most alive if used right

Motivated to help you accomplish the impossible 

After all, this life is too short

And moves faster than light

Nothing is certain in life

things are forever changing and people leave

but not even fate or destiny can keep me away

I'm inevitable

I am alone, unneeded, unwanted

Time continues to move forward

whether you are ready are not

It is your choice for how you use monopolize it

So when you present yourself to me

I shall embrace you with open arms

Warm and loving

The shadows swallow us whole

Greeting like old friends

relentlessly picking up the broken pieces

leave all your responsibilities behind

It's a lost cause after all

when nothing remains

People say I'm insane

People always hate me

Disgusted by who I am 

But it's people who don't understand

 can't accept the one truth in this world

That time doesn't last forever

One day I will come for you

Do not fight me 

Do not seek me out

But I promise

When the time does come

I will be the only one to give you true peace

This poem has a heavy mix of gentle and harsh word choice. This could imply that there are two sides to death and you are trying to convey both. I enjoy the idea of death narrating as if giving an explanation for its being or its purpose.
