Sometimes reality is harsh

Its all consuming

terror inducing

and there no escape, no matter how hard you try

you cant breathe

you can't see

never able to think straight

You are just going in circles over and over again

Trying to fight some never ending nightmare

Trying to tell yourself that its okay

You will be fine

You are stronger then this

Just telling yourself those same little lies

Like a prayer

Hoping that if you say it hard enough...

or over enough...

it will somehow become true

But all you are doing is being deceitful

Trying to manipulate your own mind

What a joke

playing up this facade to your self,

image looking into a mirror

and seeing what a phony you really are

 coming face to  face with how treacherous you really are

Your overwhelm 

Trying to outrun time

Out run your own mind

except you cant

Because you are drowning

Screaming into a soundless abyss

Shut Up

Shut up!

SHUT UP!

Your Echos bouncing uselessly all around

Trying to find a peace that you know will never exist

Because it doesn't exist

You'll only be driving yourself mad

Fighting all the voices in your head

Its hopeless

Its exhausting 

You are lost

Don't know where to go

Or what to do

So what do you do?

Is there anything that you can do

You try with all your might to fix it

make it go away, but you  cant'

accept it
