Connection

People look up to others, either it is someone famous, fiction or your run of the mill average joe, Why do you think that is

You ever stop and question why you look up to certain people, why you hang on to their every word, like its the answer to all your problems

Worship the ground they walk on...

or simply how they keep you grounded to reality for just being

Is it just human nature, or is there something more to it

The helpless yearning you feel to be someone who you could never be

Why do these people who seem so far from are own reality give us the strength to continue on,

Is it a physically connection?

Is it a Mental connection?

But these people are not God,

They are not superheros,

They are not saviors,

 Hell some of these people are not even real people

Yet we look up to them as if they could walk on water

Why do you think that is?

Is it because we want to run away from our own existence

Or maybe strive to be the best person we could be

Or maybe it's a darker reasoning to why

 Because secretly we are jealous of these people... resentful even because

Real or not, these people, these beings, who we look up to have something that we don't have but desperately crave

Something that we long for with all our hearts

That it be.... Money, Fame, Power.... Or...

Stability, Freedom, Adventure

  Regardless of these people who we cling to helplessly for some kind of connection, some kind of link, to be in our lives or our heart

You got to move on

Get your head out of the clouds and be someone else's connection
