Inner darkness

A pitch black room 

no lights

not even sure what is in it

perhaps cobwebs or maybe a skeleton or two

the room might have been abandoned 

long ago with the war

A person opens the door and takes a step

A girl comes in

Her raven black hair, black as the room 

stepping further into the darkness

and she hears a voice "Hello"

She gasps.

"Who is there?"

Silence.

"I said who is there!"

"Your inner darkness"

Author's Note

I thought because everyone has a dark side, why not write about it?
