Devotional

Lord, let me experience peace of soul...
When I am low, lift my spirit aloft.
When I can be hurtful, let me heal.
When I sound strident, make my voice soft
and when I seem callous help me to feel.

Oh Divine Creator, grant that I may not so much
Seek to be happy
As to spread happiness;
Not so much understand as to accept;
Not so much seek to be loved
as to be loving...
For it is in loving we bear Thy Image
and reveal Thy Likeness in the world.
