Soldiers Of Love

Soldiers Of Love

A Poem by Lucien

At the sight of love words climb
out of the heart, line up, and
fashion themselves with years of
clothing.

Like a battalion of soldiers
stationed amid the soul-
an army awakens the mind
to a metaphorical climb.

No replication can fasten
a kiss, a touch, a memory
to the soul- for only an army
that has died can live.

I think this was pretty good. The ending, "...only an army that has died can live", was a classic end to this peice in my opinion. Goog Job.
