Emotions

Emotions

A Poem by Miranda Richard
"

Feeling moody, decided to write about it.

"
Love can bloom like any flower, opening up when it's time
But love can hurt like a raging storm, lighting up the skies
Desire can flood like a tsunami wave, wiping all out of its path
Hope can bring two people together, finding each other at last
Romance can burn like a dancing flame, warming your heart and soul
Happiness can mend a broken heart, as it works to make it whole
Emotions can do all these things, yes it is all true
But ask yourself this question-
What can they do for you?

Emotions can make me angry and joyous. Emotions can make me do things contrary to common sense.
Nice and wise verse Miranda.

OK You kind of went free verse then rhyme. I prefer the rhyme of the last 5 lines. With a little consistency this would be great!!! ( : O )

Emotions are my favorite part of living. Being human is such a gift. The freedom to choose, and to feel the world around us with the invisible waves that are emotion.

Thanks again, it's one of my favorites too!
That's right, emotions do a lot for a person. It might break someone, make someone happy or let everyone feel at ease. This things are all in accordance to emotions yet without it what are we? What is our purpose without feeling a thing?
We live because we have emotions that make us alive. Greatly written poem, good job!

Nicely spoken, a little poetical actually :)
True, love may seem like the most wonderfully thing, but all good things have an end, so sooner or later we will start to hate our loved one which we once promised the moon or some cheesy poetic nonsense(damn, I'm gloomy)...anyway well done, love your poem
