"No One"

So we sojourned,
In the mist of hardship
We came alive
With smiles we endured
Our face shone with hope

Tears of gladness for a future yet unknown
One brighter than now
One not deterred by circumstances
Nor by hate for the system

We were simply no one
No one had a name
No one had dreams
No one believed in something
No one cried into the nights
No one, no one keeps whispering wanting to be heard
No one smiles in her sleep, she kisses the stars
She hopes someday she would become someone.
