My Journaling Style

My Journaling Style

A Poem by Jouni Sakari
"

A poetic article on writing. Q: What are the components of my writing? A: Reflections of my personality, I guess.

"

MY JOURNALING STYLE

I just walk with the feeling (in present tense),

but wonder what all could be and

easily start following other ideas,

get distracted , like there is

another story

with any image I took with the camera

giving headlines

like

"Fluffy Snow On Rowan Branches"

And I so much like to taste the sentence

in my mouth, uttering it

many times

(again and again)

a new taste, but

visual memory is my strongest sense,

(and I am glad you like

the 'thru a glass', )

(I love taking photographs)

Language is my tool to make a story,

keep coherence, interpret the world around me

that overwhelms

(because) I am so sensitive

so as to my solitude , have chosen it to avoid

disturbance, noise, quarrels etc. etc.

But in the dream

I can create the world anew

and see the beautiful

and highlight what is important

for others to feel

to wonder

to sense

... and perhaps to think too,
(and then I read the text again,

make corrections,

take something out,

insert something small

and finally let it be)

blessings
